The course Stress and Anxiety management through Yoga is an Intensive Course of 20 hours duration, imparted in two days. The course will start on Saturday 25 January at 9 a.m. and will conclude the next day, Sunday, at 9 p.m. The detailed program is given below:

THEORETICAL SYLLABUS 

The theoretical part of this course will investigate the causes of stress and anxiety described in yogic psychology and philosophy, as well as the mechanisms responsible of their symptomatic manifestation.  

Another strong point of focus will be the exposition and examination of the latest scientific findings of research investigating the effects of yogic practices in anxiety and related disorders.

PRACTICAL SYLLABUS 

Students will learn how to practice and implement -in personal and clinical settings- the yogic techniques prescribed for the treatment of anxiety and stress disorders. Each of the taught practices will be accompanied by a detailed examination of its effect and  mechanisms.

Most of the practices will be of easy performance,accessible to all publics. While their execution during the curse is non-mandatory, students doing so, should communicate any medical condition to the teacher in view of contraindications and adecuate adjustments.

Ph.D. in Yogic Science

The course Stress and Anxiety management through Yoga is imparted by Yogacharya Dr. Rodrigo Erwin Vicente Ketele, an experienced teacher and researcher in the field of yoga and psychology. After completing his Bachellor degree in Yoga and Psychology from the Indian university Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya, he was awarded gold medallist for his M.Sc studies on Human Consciousness and Yogic Science by Gurukul Kangri Vishwavidyalaya, Haridwar. Posteriorly, at the same university,  he joined as a research scholar, investigating the diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders by yogic parameters and practices and which’s results lead to the award of his doctoral degree, Ph.D. in Yogic Science.
