This two-day intensive course offers a comprehensive approach to understanding and improving gastrointestinal health through yoga. Designed for yoga teachers, healthcare professionals, and individuals seeking natural solutions for digestive health issues, the program integrates yogic philosophy, scientific research, and hands-on practice. Participants will explore the causes of gastrointestinal problems from a yogic perspective, review cutting-edge scientific findings on the benefits of yoga for digestive health, and learn practical yogic techniques for alleviating or curing common gastrointestinal conditions.

In contemporary society, gastrointestinal health is a pervasive concern, frequently impacted by sedentary lifestyles, chronic stress, and processed diets. Conditions such as IBS, GERD, or constipation are increasingly prevalent. Yoga offers a holistic approach to mitigating these issues. Specific asanas stimulate digestive organs, improve circulation, and reduce inflammation. Pranayama techniques alleviate stress, a major contributor to gut dysfunction, while mindfulness practices enhance the mind-gut connection, fostering overall digestive well-being.
THIS COURSE IS ADDRESSED TO
CONTENTS OF THE COURSE
The course “Gastrointestinal Health: Yogic Cure and Method” is an intensive program spanning 20 hours over two days. It will include theoretical lectures as well as practical training.
The theoretical portion of the course will delve into the yogic understanding of digestive health and the causes of gastrointestinal problems, including physical, mental, and dietary imbalances.
A review of scientific research highlighting the effects of yoga on the digestive system, including its role in alleviating disorders like irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), acid reflux, or constipation, among others.
Participants will be introduced to and guided through yogic practices tailored to support digestive health, including asanas, pranayama, kriyas, meditation and relaxation techniques. Each practice will be accompanied by a detailed explanation of its effects and mechanisms. All practices will be accessible to participants of varying levels of experience, and modifications will be provided as needed.
CERTIFICATION
All participants will be awarded at the completion of the program with the IYC Certificate of the course Gastrointestinal Health: Yogic Cure and Method, officially issued by PRAMANA INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTE.
